Online Shopping: What's not to adore?

"Whoever said that money doesn't buy happiness didn't know where to shop".- Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl)

I am always tempted to watch Gossip Girl on its new series regardless of what they say that it has become ‘boring’. I’m never bored; with the clothes they wear, shoes and the accessories + the drama, everything is just magic.  But unlike the brats of Upper East Side NYC who likes to go fashion shows and shop around designer stores, I like ONLINE SHOPPING! Yes! At its best! I don’t pay my shoes and clothes full price. I always opt for the clearance section. So what? Fashion is a cycle. It’s in, it’s out and it’s back in again!

I shopped last week at Forever21.com for some accessories. I know they say forever21 is overrated and immature, but it all comes up with how you mix and match stuff on your closet and how you bring yourself to wear it. I bought all this stuff for a total of $20 + shipping:

Sandals, clutch and necklace

If I waited for a whole week for the forever21 merchandise, I waited forever 21 YEARS for my iPad. Actually it took 4 weeks and the waiting is over! I got my iPad last Tuesday! It was beautiful, truly worth waiting.

You TEASE! <3

And the cream of the “crap” (LOL), was our dinner tonight. We ordered this online too.

Happy weekend girls!

Spring Break!

Hubby bought me these shoes in California and it was just so perfect for a retro spring look:
I tried to use that bike but LOL.

I ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato at last. ICED. Get it? Its finally HOT here in Manhattan! Now I have more excuse to indulge in soft serves. I’m here at Hasting’s bookstore (www.gohasting.com) for the mean time. Their barista is such a sweet lady and their coffee is darn good. Hubby’s on my left side updating on the status of my order from Apple. As they said the iPad will be on my doorstep in 3-4 weeks. This coming week is the 4th week. I am so excited but getting disappointed with how slow they had to ship the item. I’m hungry at the same time so I’m taking a huge bite off my chicken sandwich from Burger King. My very first Burger King purchase; YES. I was never a fan of Burging King in the Philippines; my husband doesn’t take me there when I got here in the US. Well, not until we got the buy one get one coupon! LOL.  Anyway, Hasting “Hard Back Café” is sooo much better than Starbucks. The latter place is dirty and cold. Here in Hasting’s, It’s a café-bookstore. You can read their books in their café and buy/return it anytime. ;) We’re here to abuse their WIFI. We have one at home but Boo want a different setting while doing his Doctoral. I’m just doing this blog while reading Filipino Tabloid website. It’s www.PEP.ph.

Remember the marriage retreat I attended with my hubby? We attended it the second time and it was so much better.
Hold on Boo! I'm going to save youuuuuuuu!!

The food was O-KAY. I guess hubby is the one getting its worth:
Larry's                                   &                                  Nikki's

Larry's                             &                              Nikki's

Did I get you salivating? More food to come! ^^
