Winter Dilemma

I drove my car this morning with much difficulty, as there was too much ice on windshield, fenders, bumpers and I couldn’t see the back view because my tailgate camera was blurry! I could easily get into an accident this winter. Snow is nice on TV where they played snowball fights and being cuddly to get warm near the fireplace. But it’s not all that, you actually have to bundle up in 5-7 layers of clothing and your electricity/gas bill skyrocketing because of the heater. A lot of people concluded spring is going to start next week. I’m looking forward to it. Having a little bit of color (flowers) might brighten up our gloomy neighborhood. <3

Washy-washy!

As soon as I headed back to work, I played with my favorite baby: PORTER! The cutest baby with the chubbiest cheek, she always gets so excited to see me. I guess I’m her favorite. AHAH. Here is a clip of the princess:

Fogs and Yogurts.

My husband and I go to mass at Ft. Riley every Sunday. We’re members of the church choir so we had to be there a little bit early. It snowed 2 days ago so the snow on the ground made the air chilly. On our way to mass, the fog on the way was unimaginable. It was like we were in some random horror movie and is trying to escape from the woods. Everything was just white and cloudy. The weather didn’t change until the afternoon.

Isn’t it creepy?

Fort Riley Boulevard

Hubby had to go back for the Knights of Columbus meeting inside the Fort while I stayed at home with my laundry. I ate and slept and did what a couch potato usually does. ^^ At night I dragged my husband to the Asian store to buy Boy Bawang Adobo Flavor. Mah FAVE! I wanted to get their Filipino Ice Cream but was stunned with the price! $9.99 for a gallon? We could buy 3 different flavors at Wal-Mart! We left for some yogurt at Orange Leaf only to get a Mango yogurt with Mango babo for the price of $8.22. Such a small difference but I can’t complain. Here’s a picture of the store and the yogurt (I hope it doesn't look like soup for you.)

Adobong Pork Belly

When I got home from gym, I started to crave for Adobong baboy. We bought pork belly from the Asian market yesterday and I just decided to cook half of it (t’was 2lbs of meat :P). Since it’s late already, this is probably the easiest way to cook it. ^^ Here is my Pork Belly Adobo.

Oh! And here is last night's leftover. It's some kind of ginataan wings. It's really spicy!

Purrteeeey!

This is once again a “semi-carefree” Saturday. Well, half of the day we did everything we wanted to do. The other, we went to Aaron’s party. He just turned 13 but the funny thing is that nobody his age was there. Most of the visitors were his mothers’ (My boss). Everything was good especially the grilled chicken wings. I even brought some home. HAHA!

FOODIES!

Hubby and I had to leave in the middle of the party for mass. Oh and we went to Wal-Mart too! I had to buy Olay foaming facial wash and bought a CoverGirl TRUconceal for my dark spots. I got new facial brushes too. Now I’m all set up for my choir presentation tomorrow!

Total remake.

This is my 4th attempt to maintain a blog. I always become too lazy updating my blog. Probably because Facebook is the easiest way to check on ones status, but then again I miss nagging in front of my laptop. It’s when you have a bad hair day but you’re too sensitive too to talk about it (unless your talking to yourself). I apologize in advance for grammatical errors. Ugh. No. I take that back, I am NOT sorry because this is MY page. :D

*grin*
